As a mom who has been pumping and nursing (sorry boys, but this is my life:) I have had to sit for over 10hrs a day in the same spot. My poor toddler just can't understand why mom sits all day. All she knows is that mom has to feed Farrah. This is what I caught Marley doing in her room.......
She said, "Mom! I'm pumping!" She continued to feed all of her teddy bears that were surrounding her;)
Here are some tid bits from our first two and a half weeks with Farrah Blake
This is Farrah's first trip to church
Marley needs some attention:)
Marley was a little jealous of all the swaddling going on...... so we swaddled her.
This is Farrah getting her first bath with help from her big sis

It's a girl!
We had a little girl named Farrah Blake Metcalf at 2:55pm December 29th. She weighed 6lbs and 10oz, and was 20 inches long. So far we have learned that she loves to sleep (thank goodness), loves to hear her sisters voice, and is pretty chill. The only time she isn't chill is when she is having her diaper changed...she likes to hold her breath! Brent and I are now trying to find our groove with two little ones. I have to nurse and pump 8-10 times a day so that means 8-10 hours a day I do nothing but sit. That is pretty hard with Marley, and trying to take care of the baby at the same time. Brent is amazing and already washed more bottles than you could ever have imagined! He is my rock. Marley loves "her baby". Every morning she jumps up and says, "where is my baby?". Pray for me as I am running on low sleep and am trying to parent my toddler while sitting on the couch half the day:) We are excited Farrah is here, and praising God for specifically answering our prayers.
